Sidewalk Advocates
Options for Her will be offering a ONE-DAY Sidewalk Advocates Training Class* on Saturday, November 2 from 9:30am to 4:00pm at our Cherry Hill office location!
The Sidewalk Advocates for Life training will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to approach and engage with abortion minded and vulnerable women and men that we meet when traveling on the road with our mobile medical units, and those we serve in our three office locations (Cherry Hill, Trenton and Ocean City).
When you volunteer with Options, we want you to feel equipped and confident to act as the peaceful, prayerful, and loving presence that we are called to be as the hands and feet of Christ. This training brings together the Body of Christ in a spirit of unity to learn how to better serve the community and engage in conversations with vulnerable women and men facing unplanned pregnancies, encouraging them to consider all of their options and make life-affirming decisions!
*There is a $10 fee to join this training which will cover all necessary training materials and lunch to be served during the class.

Love Approach Class
Act as a welcoming, comforting presence to those in need. Offer a safe place to make a sound decision. Equip and empower others with love in a way that they would see Jesus in us.
These are our desires at Options for Her. We believe that simple presence can be powerful. A listening ear, a compassionate heart, and consistent support for the abortion minded and vulnerable.
With new challenges like protecting abortion access in sanctuary states like ours poses grave risks to vulnerable women. NOW is the most important time to stand up for LIFE! If you desire to be a part of the presence we hope to have within the lives of those we meet, we’d love to see you at our ONE-DAY training class, “The Love Approach,” on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9:30AM – 3:00PM at Ujima Village Christian Church in Ewing, NJ!
This class is designed for those wanting to serve on our team as Medical Staff, Intake Counselors, and Drivers on our mobile medical units and in our three office locations, as well as equip them to approach those facing unplanned pregnancies in practical and biblical ways. Unlike other pregnancy resource centers, our support goes beyond our first encounter with our clients; we continue to come alongside these women and their families during their pregnancy journeys and after!
The Love Approach observes a training model which follows the example of Jesus as He met with the woman at the well in John 4. The acronym LOVE implies Listening + Learning, Open Options, Vision + Values, and Extending + Empowering.
*There is no fee to join this training! All necessary class materials will be provided, along with lunch to be served during the class.

Mobile Medical Unit Drivers
Options for Her is in great need of volunteers! With TWO mobile medical units on the road, covering ground in southern New Jersey and Philadelphia, we are looking for DRIVERS to safely transport our units and team on the road!
A special role, our drivers are a part of the life-saving work we do out on the road in many ways! Our drivers help to provide protection and security while also being a strong and available presence to the men we encounter on the road. A CDL is not required for this position.

Ultrasound Technicians
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with experience. Weekdays and/or Saturdays availability.
Registered Nurses
Registered Nurse (RN) with experience. Weekdays and/or Saturdays availability. Also, has the opportunity to be trained in limited ultrasound.
Intake Counselors
Options for Her practices a “Love Approach” when providing services to women. Training will be provided.
